What Is a Commercial Fire Safety Plan?
A commercial fire safety plan is a detailed document outlining how your building will respond to a fire or emergency. It covers evacuation procedures, staff roles, maintenance schedules for fire protection systems, CAD floor plans, and site plans — all reviewed and accepted by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), typically your local fire department.

BC Fire Code Requirements for Commercial Properties
Section 2.8 of the BC Fire Code requires a fire safety plan for any building classified as a commercial, industrial, assembly, care, or detention occupancy.
